ABOUT US
Puddleby Charities, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a group of volunteer creatives, businesspeople, seniors, and individuals living with disabilities. Their mission is to promote the arts while supporting populations in need.
The group’s model is simple: create events such as art shows, book signings, concerts, and more, and donate 100% of the profits where they’re needed the most.
“There are so many people who fall through the cracks in our society,” says author Howard Odentz, a senior living with a rare disorder. “As an author, I may not be able to use my body to help, but I can certainly use my words.”
Karen Burke, a disabled senior, gifted graphic designer, and the parent of an adult child with Autism, agrees. “I want to know my son will have the care he needs when I’m gone,” she says. “I was gifted with creativity. That’s my superpower. I plan on using that superpower to help people like him.”
Puddleby Charities has several projects already underway, with many more on the horizon.
